SILVER SALE

Give someone art! Really, it's time. Give yourself art of timeless sort! Bezos and Mr and Mrs Walmart do not have these unique, made-to-last artworks in their warehouses.

Many of these archival, silver prints were made decades ago and look good. They should do for decades or lifetimes more.

An early photography teacher critiqued my early work, wrote, "Your images are as much like poetry as any photography I have ever seen."

The critique was of early photographs I made in Leningrad/St Petersburg, like the "3 Chessmen" here.

I post this image because I watched "Queen's Gambit" series on Netflix recently that features Russian men who play chess on park benches. Their rituals and passion features in the series as one of the purest forms of this quintessential game and metaphor.

The Silver photograph looks better than this electronic file, that I can tell you.

Do you have a lover of chess on your gift list? This handmade, signed and numbered print is available to buy in my SILVER SALE galleries.
