24 7 732 is my large-scale, 2019-20, portrait of Paris comprised of 366, double-vertical panoramas of uniform dimensions of 11x44 inches (28x112 cm). The work is designed for installation in a large space (4 feet tall x 400 feet of museum wall). These images answer the challenge of working in Paris, a city that is synonymous with photography and a visual gift to artists.

Each image in 24 7 732 is composed of two primary subjects, one on top and one on the bottom of the panorama. An additional, central field serves as a transitional space that effectively creates "social distancing" between the two primary subjects.

All 366 photos are a single arc or fluid gesture of the camera. 24 7 732 images each hang individually on the wall, each backed with hardware for 180° rotation. This invites viewers to interact with and to re-visualise the work over time.

Is up now down, and down now up? 24 7 732 reckons with a photographic vocabulary corresponding to a general sense of upheaval and uncertainty that characterise this period of time in which the world seems flipped on its end.

Each image is a tick mark on a wall, counting the days toward potential change or relief.

The end date of this work was 3 November 2020.
