My work in the Liberties region of Dublin is the third "panel" in a triptych of projects in European cities of revolution. The overarching ambition of this triptych is to probe personal, local, and global revolutions undertaken in three representative but unique urban regions. Historically, the Liberties refers to an area outside the jurisdiction and protective walls of Dublin Castle. The area seems to be in a long transition toward regeneration. The teasers above link to images representing a larger body of work tapping into a prevailing dialogue I discovered as resident there, employing a personal methodology of research and exploration of spaces and institutions of this city center region.
